It is so hard to believe that Trey is now a one year old little boy. In order to celebrate we of course had to have a Pirate Party for Captain Treybow. So the day before his birthday we invited Trey's family and friends to Ellis Island. I might have gone a little overboard with the party (I know you would never think right :o)) but Trey had a great time so it was all worth it.
Welcome to Ellis Island!!

Enter at your own risk... Luckily we live in Tampa where Gasparilla is a huge pirate party every year so Trey's party got the benefit of some of my Gasparilla decorations.
The goody bags
Jimmy made an excellent rum punch and several of the adult pirates needed a nap to sleep it off so it was fun for adults and kids alike.
I took Trey for a pirate photo shoot a few weeks before the party and used the photos for decoration.

The Tampa Girls - Marilyn, Kelly, Allison and Elise - this Mom is very lucky to have such a great support system
Trey's pirate cake - not sure if you can tell from the pictures but the cake basically fell apart which caused Mom to melt down in tears shortly before the party but Jimmy calmed me down and convinced me we could just call it the shipwreck cake and it would be fine.
Trey with his smash cake - he was not sure what to think and tried to offer it to Jimmy - it was really cute.
