Part One of Week Twenty-One in the Life of Trey

Although Week Twenty-One is not quite over, I wanted to get these posts up as there are so many cute ones from Halloween :o) Halloween was so much more fun this year with Trey to celebrate with. The big event for Trey this week however was that he discovered his feet and he is just amazed by them (I am trying to get a picture but every time the camera comes up he puts his feet down and smiles at me).

Just a cute picture of Trey hanging with his Dad - do those two look alike or what?

We had several holiday outfits so we had to start wearing them early in the week. Thank you Nana and Papa Steve for this one - it was a big hit at school.

Yet another one (apparently we like spiders).

We started Halloween off with a party at Trey's school. Mom and Dad both took the day off work so that we could chaperone and be a part of the festivities. The teachers made costumes for the class and they were all dalmations and it was the most adorable thing. Here is dalamation Trey.

Dalmation Trey with is friend Dalmation Avery.

In order for the babies to participate in the costume parade, they were loaded up in the fire cribs (these are the cribs that are made to roll outside in the event of an emergency) and dog houses were born :o)

I have no idea who this kid is but I just thought his dracula costume was too cute not to mention the facial expression.

The whole class. The teacher in orange in the middle is Trey's teacher Ms. Tina. The teacher on the right is Trey's secondary teacher Ms. Dalia.

All dressed up for Halloween - there were so many cute Halloween costumes out there but I saw this monkey and just fell in love with it. It is perfect for our little monkey. Then I saw the banana treat bag and of course we had to have that also (with our name on it).

I have heard many a story of babies hating their costume but not my little man - he loved it!

The family all ready for our neighborhood Halloween block party. Mom dressed up as a Mummy :o)

Trey's first pumpkin which Grandma and Grandpa bought him from the pumpkin patch - of course a pirate

The Elberon babies - Pirate Brad (six months old), Gator Cheerleader Taylor (four months old) and Monkey Trey (five months old). We are so lucky to have so many babies on the street so close in age as our kids have playmates right next door.

Pirate Ava - she was so adorable and loved handing out candy to the kids.

Hey Mom - where did all the candy go?

After a long day, we were defintely ready for bed. Thank you "Aunt" Amanda for the adorable PJs.

Trey's School

I have been meaning to get photos up for awhile and since we just went to Trey's school Halloween party I finally have the pictures to post :o) Although it was a hard decision and I had thought we would go with a nanny for Trey when I went back to work, I just never found anyone that I was comfortable with. So after talking to alot of people and watching Trey and how much he likes being around other kids and watching the world around him, we decided school was the best decision.
The school Trey attends is right downtown and so I can be there in a minute by car if needed. Trey has three wonderful teachers, Ms. Tina, Ms. Dalia, and Ms. Erika. Ms. Tina is his primary teacher and Ms. Dalia is what I like to call the closer as she is the last teacher there at night. She and Trey get some quality one-on-one time as Trey is usually one of the last kids to be picked up as I leave at 5:30 but most parents leave at 5:00.

The outside of the school

The door to Trey's classroom. This is one of my favorite things as the door constantly changes but there is always a theme with each of the kids names on the door.

Here is the classroom play area.

Here is Trey's crib at school - yes that is a Gator mobile and I was super excited when I found an orange sheet :o)

Trey loves the bouncer at school and smiles whenever he is in it.
We need to get one for the house :o)

Week Twenty in the Life of Trey

I guess this was just a busy week for us in that I did not take as many pictures this week which usually means we are just constantly on the go and there were no major moments (as cuteness is an every minute occurrence so I cannot take pictures of every minute :o))

Trey and Taylor - how adorable is this. Jimmy was in San Francisco for a conference so we went to visit Taylor and her Mom and Gradmom next door. Trey kept putting his hand on Taylor and at times they even held hands. Hey, he knows a beautiful girl when he sees one.

Check out yet another awesome outfit!!

Week Nineteen in the Life of Trey

This week was a big week for us. The biggest event was that we started cereal. At our four month appointment, the doctor told us that given Trey's size and the fact that he was showing interest in us eating big people food, that he was ready to start with rice cereal. I was not sure how it would go but as you will see from the pictures below, he loved it!! In addition to that, we went to the zoo, a birthday party and a pumpkin patch :o)

As you can see, the zoo really tuckered Trey out. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time as Trey loves anything that allows him to be outside.

Trey and I at the entrance of Lowry Park Zoo.

Here we go, lets see if Trey likes it.

Well as you can see from the mess about half as much as went in also came out but amazingly Trey got the hang of it pretty quickly, knew what to do with the spoon and even opened his mouth for more.

I love cereal Mom!!

On Saturday we went to Miss Belle's 1st birthday party at Gymboree. She was adorable in her tutu and the kids had a great time. Here is Belle with her princess cake and Mom and Dad helping her blow out the candle.

Trey finally got to meet his "Uncle" Tony at the birthday party.

To celebrate Aunt Wendy's birthday we went to Shake Pit for dinner (oh how I LOVE Shake Pit). Afterwards Grandpa was working in the pumpkin patch so we went to visit him.

This pumpkin is pretty cool Mom, can I give it a kiss?

Three generations... James Morton Ellis, James Edward Ellis II, and James Edward Ellis III

Week Eighteen in the Life of Trey

This week Trey turned four months old. At our four month doctors visit official stats were:

Weight: 17 pounds, 13 ounces
Height: 26.5 inches

I lost the bet as I thought he was only about 16 pounds but Jimmy said 18 and he was pretty close. I just thought there was no way our four month old baby had doubled his birth weight. He definetely takes after his Dad :o)

We had to wear this outfit because it was only going to fit one time (like most of Treys outfits since he is already in 9 month clothes).

I had better watch my pots as Trey is already interested in them. Trey loves to just sit in the kitchen and watch me cook and clean (hopefully he will love helping me when he gets older also)

Trey loves his jogging stroller - now that the weather is getting nice we go walking whenever we can. For anyone in the market for a jogging stroller I highly recommend the Bob, I love mine!!

Well Trey is not to happy in this picture as Mom kept him out to late. Jimmy went golfing for the weekend with a friend in Fort Myers so Mom and Trey were on their own. We went to visit Cara and Wade and see their new place in Sarasota - it was awesome to see them and we are so glad that they live closer now!

Since Nana and Papa Steve were leaving for GUatemala in a week we went to pay them a visit - as you can see Trey was loving Nana and Papa Steve's guest bed and was passed out. I am in love with this picture!!

Week Seventeen in the Life of Trey

This week was Trey's first plane trip. Our friends Mike and Kristi were getting married at Dartmouth college and since our family lives in New Hampshire we decided to combine a trip to visit the family with the wedding.

This is just a picture of yet another adorable outfit.
Trey is really starting to smile for the camera.

Trey on his first plane flight. He did awesome!! He slept for the first part of the trip and then just hung out with Mom and Dad and played with his toys.

Trey with the Fredrick clan. We had a great time hanging out with everyone and enjoying the fall foliage.

Trey was so happy to get to meet his Great Grammie. He fell in love with Great Grammie instantly and her with him.

Four Generations - Mother and Son and Mother and Son

Jimmy and I's first night out without Trey was to go to the wedding. Trey was in the capable hands of the entire Fredrick family for babysitters.

Jimmy and Mike, the handsome and happy groom

On Sunday we left New Hampshire and headed to Massachusetts to visit with the Ferris family. They had a huge lobster feast for us and we drank plenty of wine and laughed all night long. Here is Jimmy teaching Trey how to eat lobster.

Trey with Mimi and Holly - Holly is expecting a little one in March and so we gave her some practice with Mr. Trey :o)

Here is Mom's little monkey

Nana got Trey this jacket for his trip to the North - it was so adorable!!

Here we are on our plane flight home - again Trey got an A+ and did not complain once about having to sit in the same place for three hours. It was a great long weekend but we were all happy to come home and sleep in our own beds as well.

Week Sixteen in the Life of Trey

This was my first week back at work and Trey's first week of school. To make it more complicated, Jimmy was gone most of the week at a conference for work so Trey and I had to get through the week on our own. Mom shed quite a few tears but she made it through the week. Trey took a little while to adjust to school but by the end of the week he was having a great time and flirting with all of the girls in his class.

Trey's First Day of School

I was just so cute in these pajamas that Mom had to take a picture of me

On Saturday, Trey and I went to Bradenton for Tara's shower. Tara and Dave are getting married in November and I am honored to be one of her bridesmaids. All of the ladies at the shower of course fell instantly in love with Mr. Trey.

These overalls are just too cute!!

This week marked Trey's first time in his high chair - he loves it as it lets him look around the room and watch Mom cook dinner.
